For over 45 years, Leucan has been promoting the recovery and well-being of children with cancer and their families by providing assistance through specialized services during and beyond all stages of the illness. Petit Lem has partnered with Leucan as its mission to support these children and their families resonates with our core value of supporting families through everyday moments, big and small. Working with a local Association allows us to reach those in need and make an impact within our community.
The collection features Leucan's mascot, Camie, a friendly ladybug whose name comes from the blend of the words cancer and "ami" (French for friend!). Camie was chosen by Leucan children themselves because of the friendly demeanour of ladybugs. She is also a symbol of healing and luck, bringing positivity to everyone she encounters.
When you purchase a Petit Lem x Leucan pajama, you're not just buying sleepwear. 100% of proceeds are being donated to the Association to aid them with providing help to families through personal assistance, emotional support, financial aid, recreational activities and research.
To bring the collection to life, we invited Billie and Henry to our studio to be the stars of our Pajamas with Purpose photoshoot. Both are Leucan children, and are the perfect embodiment of the strength and resilience that inspired these styles.
